Introduction

Ni Hao! My name is Karen— a content creator of 6 years who has decided to embrace a new and exciting chapter of my life as a Compressed Nursing Student here at Trent University. Beyond my work as a creator, I am a daughter, a dog mom, a partner (who also happens to be a nurse, lol!) and someone who values the power of choice. As a leader and a lifelong learner, I am driven by the belief that every decision we make has the potential to create meaningful change.

This book will reflect on my values and decision to embark on a journey of growth, transformation, and courage to pivot towards a career in nursing and healthcare, where I vow to continuously learn, lead, and care for others in meaningful and impactful ways.
