This course aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy and physiology, focusing on key systems such as the cardiovascular, lymphatic, endocrine, immune, respiratory, urinary, fluids and electrolytes/acid-base, and reproductive systems. I learned to effectively use basic medical terminology related to these systems, which enhanced my ability to communicate within the healthcare environment.
I gained insights into the structural and functional organization of the human body at both cellular and tissue levels, helping me grasp how these elements contribute to overall health. The course involved identifying the various organ systems and understanding the major components of each, enabling me to locate and describe anatomical and physiological aspects within the areas of study.
Moreover, I developed skills to identify and address basic clinical problems using relevant anatomical and physiological information, equipping me with a foundational knowledge crucial for my nursing practice. Overall, this course deepened my understanding of the human body and prepared me for more advanced studies in healthcare.
