As I embarked on my first year in the Practical Nursing program at Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario, my focus shifted toward trying a new path and exploring the direction I wanted to take in life. I fully engaged with the coursework, absorbing essential knowledge about human health, nutrition, pharmacology, and the principles of nursing practice, even as I navigated my uncertainty about the future.
Throughout the year, I formed meaningful connections with my fellow students, creating a supportive network. I participated in hands-on learning experiences that broadened my perspective and enhanced my critical thinking skills.
I took full advantage of some of the opportunities that Fleming College offered, both academically and socially. I participated in workshops that enriched my educational experience. Additionally, I strived to excel in tests and assignments while grappling with my indecision about my career path.
