Subject: Writing to audiences

When doing anything whether it is reading, presenting, or writing, one must be mindful of the audience and the style that is being used to communicate because not every audience will have the same type of experience or knowledge to understand a certain delivery of information. Depending on the audience my writing style will vary to communicate my information clearly and suit the needs of the targeted audience. For instance, a professional communication writing piece aimed at a patient will focus on helping me understand my patient, planning and approaching their clinical problems, minimizing the risks along with maximizing the benefits of information sharing and avoiding errors that can cause confusion, fear, or anger. To be able to do all this I will have to be able to know or learn how to write well so that my communication to a specific audience is understandable, beneficial, and successful

It is important for me to write clearly and effectively because it will prove to be beneficial to me and my future workplace. Writing with clarity and effectiveness will not just help me with avoiding misinterpretation of information but can also help with dealing with stress or challenging times. Whether I am writing to release some stress or to communicate valuable information, skillful writing is essential if I want to succeed in my future career. There are many reasons why this is the case including that patients will receive help from clear, specific, writing since it will end misunderstandings that can lead to bigger problems, in addition to that proficient writing can aid in one’s personal growth and satisfaction.
