- What is your purpose and intended audience for your design object?
The purpose of this infographic is to inform newcomers or people interested in practical nursing about the profession and what steps are required to begin and enjoy the career, just like in my DCA.
- Why did you choose the medium you selected ( i.e. poster, infographic, etc.) for your design object?
I chose an infographic because I believe an infographic would be the most effective way to deliver the most important pieces of information while at the same time making sure that the audience receives that information. Nowadays people are always busy and may not have the time or interest to sit down and watch a full video or read an entire article. With an Infographic I can captivate the eyes of my audience using intriguing and colorful visuals, once I have gotten the interest of my audience, I will use a few words to share the most essential information. The reader will not take up to 2 min to finish reading the content and by the time they are done, they can decide to further inform themselves or move on with their day, no matter the choice of my audience I would have successfully shared the information I wanted to share, instead of risking doing a video that may end up not fully be watched.
