Program Requirements

The field placement is the final course (JO-350) in the program. Students must successfully complete all courses in the previous five semesters before being eligible for the field placement.

The field placement, or internship, requires students to work a minimum of 336 hours – 24 hours per week for 14 weeks – with an approved media partner.
