What nursing means to me
- Nursing to me is a lifelong dedication to improve individual health and growth. Nurses provide support, education, teamwork, and are an advocate.
- Providing support amongst our patients no matter their culture, race or beliefs. We provide support to physicians, and other health care members in the circle of care.
- Education is given to patients about their plans of care, education on medication, and lifestyle management.
- Advocacy is shown when nurses are advocates for their patients and show trust when relaying important information within the health care team.
