Artifact/Evidence 1 – First Aid and CPR Completion

The first artifact I chose is skill based. We have many, but, it’s important and relevant to ensure, as nurses, we keep up-to-date in our training and skills. As shown in this artifact, it is a recertification showing that I am competent and a asset to my team member and society.  While this certification is a mandatory requirement for my Nursing Program at Trent University, I view it as an invaluable opportunity to learn life-saving techniques and how to respond effectively in emergency situations. This certification is crucial not only for my academic progression but also for my practical nursing skills. I chose this artifact because it demonstrates my commitment to professionalism and my nursing career. It reflects my dedication to ensuring that I am well-prepared to respond to medical emergencies, which is essential for my role as a Registered Nurse. By staying up-to-date with these life-saving techniques, I continue to prioritize my growth as a healthcare professional.
