Program Modalities and Requirements

Interactive Media Management has two sections:

  • 6410 is face-to-face, in a classroom setting; occasionally classes may be moved to online (via Zoom), to accommodate for inclement weather, or other emergencies.
  • 6010 is fully online, and asynchronous, with materials delivered to students in units. Students work through the materials on their own, but are also expected to collaborate with other students. Faculty will also hold regular synchronous Zoom sessions (at times that work best for the class) so you have an opportunity to interact with each other, and ask questions.

IMMT is also a BringIT program, which requires you to own and use your own computer. Please review the requirements listed in the Program Learning Resources and Facilities section. You are responsible for making sure your computer adheres to minimum requirements, and that you know how to operate it properly.

There are no textbooks required for the program; faculty may assign readings and will provide links to those readings in their course materials.

eCentennial

All courses at Centennial have an online learning environment on eCentennial, the College’s learning management system. Through eCentennial you can access course documentation and class assignments, monitor grades, and actively communicate and collaborate with professors and other students. Online courses and online components of hybrid courses will be delivered through eCentennial. You may need to write online tests and submit assignments via eCentennial. Your professor will discuss their use of eCentennial in each of your courses. View this video to learn how to navigate eCentennial and view the eCentennial Help- Video Tutorials.
