The classes within The Hub are the Council households, the upper-class, the middle-class, and the lower-class. Occasionally there are members of the Council that see citizens of Illyreon as lesser, as they are below them in power. Upper-class families can come across as threats to their authority, while middle-class pose no threat and are mostly benefiting those of the Council. Since the lower class has no threatening attributes, no contribution to the economy, and a low work ethic, they are often ignored and deemed useless. Wanting to be in the Council, wealthier citizens are constantly trying to win their favour. Since they have similar wealth, their views on the lower and middle-class people are also similar. Because of the strength and leadership that the Council showed by forming The Hub and adapting the use of illyryite to power the city, they are viewed as heroes by the middle class, while the class feels slight irritation towards the upper class, which may come from a place of jealousy. When interacting with the lower class, middle-class citizens tend to have more pity and human interactions. With poor treatment from those above them, the lower class tends to have resentment and anger towards the upper classes. It is difficult to climb the social hierarchy because of the Council’s hold on illyryite, however, wealthy members of the upper-class can be welcomed into the Council, although still rare. Climbing the social hierarchy is a painstaking and difficult venture for all classes, however, the higher one rises, the steeper and more perilous the ascent becomes. People outside The Hub are typically seen similarly to middle-class people. They do their jobs and help The Hub with getting resources they otherwise would not have. People outside usually see most people in The Hub as friends. They mutually benefit from trading with each other and are content with that. People outside The Hub do not have a desire to move in, as they are pleased with their current system.
The Council members make up the government, meaning they make all the decisions regarding The Hub. The upper-class are people who have gained wealth through a variety of different ways, either through trade, investing, owning successful businesses or lucrative pieces of land. The middle-class is the working class. They have all sorts of jobs, from teaching, medical professions, sales, among other white and pink-collar jobs. The lower-class work the less desirable jobs that typically require no prior knowledge or expertise in a certain field or skill. They have manual labour jobs, repetitive jobs, or sometimes even no job at all.
Outside The Hub, people have trade relations with people of other villages, trading with each other to gain the resources they need. The people outside sometimes come into The Hub and purchase things; however, other than trading, they usually stay outside and work with each other. Outside The Hub, most people are friendly with each other, however villages do not always agree on everything.

Mined from the mountains surrounding The Hub, these magic-infused crystals power technology across the Illyreon. Varying in size and shape, these crystals are clear in a non-magic state, and glow purple once infused. Illyryite crystals are also used to store Illyreon's wealth, with accessories tied to a citizen's biometrics.
