My Nursing Philosophy

My nursing philosophy is to treat every patient as if you were in “their shoes”. I strongly believe in a multi-dimensional, patient-centered approach to nursing practice. This entails caring for each patient in a way that best caters to their unique needs and individual situation. My philosophical statement entails treating people with the utmost respect, empathy, dignity, and the highest possible standards of care, and treating them how you would want to be treated if you were in their position. My approach also strives to promote wellness (psychological and emotional dimensions) in addition to physical health.
