Smart Goals
SMART goals are goals we make that are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound. They provide a structured approach to accomplishing realistic achievements within a set timeframe. In this section you will see 3 SMART goals I have created for my upcoming semester.
Improve Clinical Skills
By the end of April 2025, I will improve my basic clinical skills by completing two additional hours of practice each week in the simulation lab and seeking feedback from my instructors to ensure I am progressing.
Time Management
By the end of January, I will implement a weekly study schedule using a planner for the next semester, making specific blocks of time for each class to help improve my time management and avoid last-minute cramming.
Build Connections
For the upcoming semester for clinical, I will make sure to practice active listening and use open-ended questions with at least three patients each week. I will seek feedback from my clinical supervisor to help improve my patient communication skills.
