An Intro to my Journey

I plan to apply several critical thinking, effective communication, and compassionate patient care abilities in my future nursing career. With these abilities, I will be able to work with healthcare teams, evaluate patient’s requirements, and deliver the best treatment. Nursing offers a wide range of oppurtunitie’s, including working in hospitals and community health settings and specializing in different fields. I chose Trent University because of its emphasis on hands-on labs and practical exercises, which align perfectly with my learning style. The program’s experiences will give me the skills and self assurance I need to succeed in real world healthcare settings. The smaller class sizes at Trent have fostered a supportive learning environment, allowing for meaningful interactions and deeper understanding of complex concepts. This career is a commitment to lifelong learning, recognizing that nursing is an ever-evolving field. While my four years at Trent University will equip me with foundational skills, I understand that ongoing education and professional development are crucial for delivering the best patient care. I will integrate my personal values of honesty, organization, responsibility, and empathy into my practice, ensuring that I not only meet patients’ physical needs but also their emotional and psychological well-being.
