Getting Started

My interest in nursing got much stronger when I relocated to the United States with my family. I have this old Neighbor who stays alone and always requires care, most times he waits long hours before his caregiver arrives, so I will sometimes go to him and give him basic care before his caregiver arrives. His caregiver saw my interest and how perfectly I carried out her client’s care, so she introduced me to her company, and I took care of my Neighbor as his caregiver after training with the company. I moved to Canada and decided to continue in this field because of the passion and joy I derived from putting smiles on people’s faces when I care for them. The “Thank you, Grace” I get when I care for them is so rewarding for me.
