Welcome to your Notebook for GESO 3134H: Gender, Sport & Social Justice! This is the space where you will record your answers to the various prompts you will encounter at regular intervals throughout each module. While this notebook includes material from Blackboard to provide context for the prompts, you will need to engage with the Blackboard site primarily as the space where you will find the readings, detailed notes and lectures on the readings, and class discussion.

When you encounter the Notebook prompt on Blackboard, you can come here to record your answer. Each module contains about nine prompts, including activities, class discussion, and short answer responses (usually 2-3 sentences at the most, but I will specify a word count when useful).

Padlet responses should be recorded in both the padlet space and here. Try to work through the prompts over the course of the two-week interval of each module, as these are manageable provided you adhere to the timeline.  I am looking for signs that you have completed all prompts and activities, engaged thoughtfully with course material, included specific details and examples from readings, and have engaged with your peers in supportive and meaningful ways.
