Badge 1: EMERGING INCLUSIVE PRACTITIONERFaculty who are INCLUSIVE PRACTITIONERS at an EMERGING level might demonstrate the following: o Recognize the diversity of learners when developing effective learning environments. o Respect all learners. o Recognize the importance of vulnerability and uncertainty in the faculty role. o Recognize the power and possibility they hold. Badge 2: PERFORMING INCLUSIVE PRACTITIONERFaculty who are INCLUSIVE PRACTITIONERS at a PERFORMING level may do the following: o Use a growing array of skills to respond to a multi-faceted learning environment that ensures space for safety, challenge and growth. o Foster a commitment to community standards and values while maintaining empathy and fairness. o Cultivate opportunities and model risk taking in their teaching practice. o Foster a learning environment where all are empowered to have their own agency and voice. Badge 3: TRANSFORMING INCLUSIVE PRACTITIONERFaculty who are INCLUSIVE PRACTITIONERS at a TRANSFORMING level may do the following: o Inspire and mentor others to invest in their own inclusive practice and commitment towards change. o Seize opportunities to model values in decision making in their work. o Be transparent and humble in reflecting the uncertainties and course corrections of their professional journey. o Empower peers to be allies and agents of inclusive practice.
