Badge 1: EMERGING COLLABORATORFaculty who are COLLABORATORS at an EMERGING level might demonstrate the following: o Recognize the value of connection and collaboration. o Connect emotional intelligence to successful collaboration. o Note the importance of a growth mindset to improving teaching practice and faculty-student relationships. o Recognize the importance of active listening for collaboration. Badge 2: PERFORMING COLLABORATORFaculty who are COLLABORATORS at a PERFORMING level may do the following: o Establish positive and trust-based relationships among students and colleagues. o Weave emotional intelligence into course design and delivery. o Engage in collaborations and gather feedback to grow teaching practice. o Offer opportunities for students to practice respectful communication. Badge 3: TRANSFORMING COLLABORATORFaculty who are COLLABORATORS at a TRANSFORMING level may do the following: o Network with a variety of professional learning communities to enhance professional growth. o Share stories about the impact of emotions on collaboration. o Set ambitious goals that challenge established practices that impede growth. o Share communication strategies that promote successful collaborations.
