Course Requirements – Course Outlines

Course outlines specify relevant course learning outcomes to be achieved and assessments that measure achievement of that learning. Course outlines also offer a general description of the course, its content, requirements, and required learning resources (e.g., textbooks, equipment/materials). Course outlines also offer a general description of the course, its content, requirements, and learning resources. Course outlines clearly communicate expectations to learners concerning requirements for admission to the course (e.g.., pre- and co-requisites), successful completion of the course, and other course-specific policies and procedures.

Program faculty will review the course outlines for each of your courses in week 1 (your first lecture or lab). It is your responsibility to be present and remain aware of requirements and expectations.

Late assignment policy for the FTHP (9320) program are:

  1. Extension Requests: any/all extension requests must be received no less than 48hrs before the due date.
  2. Missed Tests/In-Class Assignments: absence must be communicated prior to the class in which the test/assignment will take place; make-ups will only be granted in circumstances where there is a well documented, valid reason for absence.
  3. ISP Accommodations: student must notify me of specific accommodation being implemented by email a minimum of one week prior to a test/in-class assignment, or due date.  Email must include the specific details of the accommodation, according to the guidelines in the ISP.  All ISPs must be provided to me within two weeks of the start of class.
