Program Description

Welcome to the Fine Arts Studio program! You have been selected from a host of applicants both domestic and international, because you have demonstrated a passion for making art, as well as technical skill. With tenacity and a solid body of work you will make it in the arts.

The courses in this program will ask a lot of you, but the work will also be FUN. The faculty will remind you to keep your mind open to trying many different things, to look at things from different angles, and to remember to PLAY with concepts, techniques, and mediums. Remember, it’s not all about skill: sometimes your projects will fail by not meeting your expectations, but that’s when you will really grow, and discover what you are capable of.

Question everything, try everything, share your successes and failures with bold confidence and you will come out of this program with a fabulous portfolio, and a winning attitude.
