Program Modalities and Requirements

Fall 2022 Delivery Modality

Fine Arts Studio is a studio-based program with most courses delivered face-to-face in the studios, classrooms or digital labs as appropriate. Professional Practice is currently the only hybrid course, with one hour face-to-face every week, the balance in asynchronous online mode where the student works through the material before the synchronous class where they discuss the course material and their developing professional packages.

FAS is a BringIT program for which you will need some computer technology. You will find the minimum technology requirements listed in the Program Learning Resources and Facilities section.

eCentennial

All courses at Centennial have an online learning environment on eCentennial, the College’s learning management system. Through eCentennial you can access course documentation and class assignments, monitor grades, and actively communicate and collaborate with professors and other students. Online courses and online components of hybrid courses will be delivered through eCentennial. You may need to write online tests and submit assignments via eCentennial. Your professor will discuss their use of eCentennial in each of your courses. View this video to learn how to navigate eCentennial and view the eCentennial Help- Video Tutorials.
