Faith’s Nursing Portfolio

Hello! My name is Faith Roka and I am seeking to further my education and obtain my BScN at Trent University. I am 20 years old and I am a Registered Practical Nurse at the Ross Memorial Hospital working on the medical unit. I am currently within my first year of the Compressed Nursing Program and aspire to expand my career options as a future Registered Nurse. Within this portfolio I share my core beliefs, nursing philosophy and personal values within nursing. I also present my future goals for my next semester of school, provide a reflection on my transition process with support from scholarly articles and showcase my academic achievements and artifacts that are relevant to the nursing profession. As I go through this transition process, I hope to enhance my current nursing skills and critical thinking abilities to meet the standards of an entry to practice Registered Nurse.
