Exit Options
Students have the option to transfer to other programs as long as pre-requisites are met.
Pathways to other Programs/Partners
There is an articulation agreement between the Pre Health Sciences Program (6815) and Practical Nursing Programs (9350 and 9351)
The conditions of the agreement are as follows:
Students must successfully complete the first semester of Pre Health Sciences (6815) with the minimum academic standards as established by the department
This agreement pertains only to domestic students
Students must complete a full load of courses in the first and second semester of Program 6815
Students who complete Semester 1 and Semester 2 of Program 6815 and have achieved the following in their second semester given a full load of courses taken for the first time will be considered admission to the Practical Nursing Program 9350 and 9351, without further academic preparation:
GS-280 Chemistry 2 Minimum B (70%) Grade
GS-215 Pre-Anatomy & Physiology Minimum B (70%) Grade
GS-291 Mathematics 3 Minimum B (70%) Grade
*No other single grade lower than C (60%) in all other Semester 2 courses (COMM-170/1 and GNED)
The number of Admissions to the Practical Nursing Program 9350 & 9351 from Pre Health Program 6815, will be capped at 30 seats for 9350 & 30 seats for 9351 (60 seats) for September and January intake. In addition, 10 seats for 9351 for the summer intake.
Any student who withdraws or drops courses in the first or second semester of Program 6815 will be excluded from participation in the articulation agreement
Pre Health students who do not achieve the levels of performance outlined above may apply for entry to Practical Nursing program 9350 and 9351 through the formal application process at Ontario Colleges or through in-house application.

Specialized Academic Certificates
You can use your General Education (GNED) elective courses to fulfill the requirements for a Specialized Academic Certificate. Specialized Academic Certificate programs provide an opportunity for students registered in a Diploma or Advanced Diploma program to earn an additional Centennial College Certificate concurrently with their diploma. In order to obtain a Specialized Academic Certificate, you must successfully complete GNED500 plus the three GNED courses required by the Specialized Academic Certificate program. The GNED courses will also fulfill the elective GNED requirements of the diploma program. There are currently three Specialized Academic Certificate programs:
- Indigenous Studies: First Peoples in Canada,
- Inclusive Leadership Practices, and
- Entrepreneurism
Certifications/Accreditations
