Video Meeting Tips

Many courses will have textbooks and/or books associated with the course with mandatory readings and assignments throughout the term.

In most cases, the details on required materials will be outlined in the course syllabus and outline, so be sure to read them carefully.

Depending on the course and the required materials, you may have several options, including:

  • Purchasing a new or used copy of the textbook from the bookstore
  • Purchasing a used textbook from students directly (check local and online buy/sell groups)
  • Borrowing the required book (physical or e-book) through the library
  • Some professors may make their readings available online through the LMS or another website
