4 Interprofessional team
The TPACK model supports the need of an interprofessional team when designing a VGS. Team members should work in close collaboration to create a VGS that effectively supports learners to further develop their knowledge in their specific field of study.
The TPACK model parallels with the observation made by Ferdig and Wimm (2009), who highlighted the importance of gathering three perspectives in the creation process when creating a VGS:
All these professionals should not only be present during the creation process of the VGS, but they need to get involved in iterative synergies in which all of them are active participants in the development of each and every element of the VGS.
