First Year

My first year was anything but what I expected it would be. As start to create my second first year portion of my portfolio, I am actually in my second year. I began last year in the nursing program, though due to some unfortunate extenuating circumstances I was not successful in the NURS-1001 class nursing as a profession. Due to this I was unable to complete my first year placement in a long-term care home, or complete my degree as planned. Though, this was actually a blessing in disguise. I was bale to complete my psychology class requirement and some other electives and by completing 2 summer semester throughout my degree, I am still able to complete my degree in 4 years as planned. This actually allows me to only have to take 4 classes a semester instead of 5 which allows me to be able to work more to support myself and not be completely overwhelmed. This only solidified for me how life works out in the end, though it may not always be clear in the beginning how. I am excited to share all I have learned throughout this unique experience!
