Service Learning

Service learning integrates meaningful community service with classroom instruction and critical reflection to enrich the learning experience and strengthen communities.

Example: Students in a Peace Studies program participate in placements aimed at helping acclimatize refugees as a required component of a course on community peace building (MCU, 2020).
