Lateral Reading
Lateral reading allows you to fact-check content from a web page source to verify the credibility of the source. With lateral reading you open new tabs and research information independent of the webpage. Fact-check the organization, the people, and other information found on that webpage to see if the webpage actually is what it presents itself to be.
