Report Checklist
As you reread and revise your report, ask yourself the following questions:
- Does the report consider the audience’s needs?
- Does the format follow the function of the report?
- Does the format reflect institutional norms and expectations?
- Is the information accurate, complete, and documented?
- Is the information easy to read?
- Are the terms clearly defined?
- Do the figures, tables, and art support the written content?
- Are the figures, tables, and art clear and correctly labelled?
- Can the figures, tables, and art be easily understood without text support?
- Are the words easy to read (font, arrangement, organization)?
- Are the results clear and concise?
- Are the recommendations reasonable and well-supported?
