Space to Study and Relax
Visit our five Library & Learning Centres, one located at each campus, and find comfortable seating to read a book or check your email, rooms to meet with a group or take an online class, and quiet spaces to focus on your studies.
Free Resources
Search the library collections on our website to find thousands of books, eBooks, articles, videos, and more. Learn more about topics for your courses or find a book to read or movie to watch just for fun. The library team at each campus can help you find what you need, or you can chat with us on our website.
Study Help
Develop active learning strategies for reading, note-taking, and test preparation. Meet with a Learning Strategist to create an individualized learning plan to help you be successful
Math Support
Get support for your math courses through the Math Drop-In Centre or by booking an appointment with a Math Learning Strategist.
Peer Tutoring
If you’re having trouble with any of your courses, you can connect with a free peer tutor who can help you better understand course content. Peer tutors are trained student employees in high academic standing.
Research & Citation Help
Get in-depth help finding information for your assignments, or citing resources using APA from your school’s librarian.
English Tutors
The English Tutoring Centre (formerly Centre for Academic English) provides free English tutoring and workshops for all current Centennial students.
Centennial Advising and Pathways Services
Centennial Advising and Pathways Services (CAPS) has friendly and knowledgeable staff who can advise you on important information and resources throughout your college experience.
Centre for Accessible Learning and Counselling Services
The Centre for Accessible Learning and Counselling Services (CALCS) provides a range of programs and services aimed to empower students in meeting their wellness goals, accommodation and disability-related needs, and creating a more accessible campus community. Services include
- discussing functional limitations related to a disability, your strengths, and supports available to ensure equitable access to the Centennial learning environment, such as
- learning strategies you can use to enhance your academic success,
- adaptive technology supports, and/or
- academic accommodations;
- peer supports, including specialized tutoring support and/or peer note-taking for students with disabilities; and
- ATOMS (Accessible Testing Online Management System) online test booking system.
