I would like to acknowledge the support and guidance of my supervisor, Dr Brenda Jacobs who has gone through this exciting adventure with me. I am thankful and grateful to you for taking this journey into the unknown. She has been endlessly supportive, and always happy to challenge me and discuss ideas. Thank you to Dr Alison Mann, who was my second reader and who sparked an interest in design during my undergraduate degree, while enlightening me to the idea that creating digital learning objects can be for anyone with a passion, a curiosity, and something to share.
