About Us
DisruptED is not just another online conversation about teaching and learning – it’s a conversation designed to avoid the middle of the road. Instead of teaching tips and literature lists, DisruptED collects and presents new and edgy ideas and perspectives related to teaching and learning. This is a place to express and explore ideas that may be challenging, complex, difficult and even disruptive, as long as the ideas contribute to the evolution of our teaching and learning environment.
The roster of DisruptED contributors is diverse – from undergraduate students to community members to internationally known scholars. The material on DisruptED is equally varied and includes personal blogs, research summaries, artwork, interviews, dialogues, video presentations and more.
We invite you to be part of DisruptED as a reader, viewer, commenter, writer, producer or artist. Welcome to the DisruptED community of teachers and learners.
