Conclusion 3. Faculty need support to develop digital textbook pedagogy

More work needs to be put in to support faculty use of eText features, including how to integrate eText into their teaching in a way that supports student learning. The status quo of a resource being treated as a resource ignores the potential benefits that come with eTexts. Faculty need to be supported through training and professional development on the use of eTexts if we are to expect to see eTexts having a positive impact on student achievement.
