Module 6 Assignment: Final Presentation of Idea (10%)

Following the module on presentation skills, groups will have three class periods to work together to identify and create their presentation to the class. Students are encouraged to think creatively about how they will present their idea. For instance, students may create a PowerPoint or Prezi, but may alternatively wish to create a website, video, podcast, blog, or social media campaign to help explain their group’s idea. In week 12 of the winter term, all groups will meet together virtually, with community partners invited to attend, to present and showcase their ideas. This session will be recorded as well. Students are encouraged to use the three sessions leading up to the live presentation to develop an engaging and informative presentation. A guiding template will be posted on the class Blackboard site to help students with this activity. The 10% component will be graded based on the live presentation to the class over Zoom in week 12 of the winter term.
