Instructions

This week students will begin their work together for the first time. You are encouraged to use this time to introduce yourself, get to know one another, and begin working on the group contract which will be due next week, at the end of Module 1. This contract accounts for 10% of your course grade.

You have three hours to work together during this session, so be sure to use your time wisely. Please ensure you complete all of the activities, but do not rush. These steps build upon one another and will be important teamwork activities. The group contract template is provided in next week’s section. If you finish the work this week, you may continue onto the contract creation stage. Again, you are reminded to take your time and fully engage with this activity. The more thought you put into it at the beginning, the more smoothly the collaboration will go throughout the rest of the academic year.
