SDRE Department

Welcome to the Sustainable Design & Renewable Energy (SDRE) department within the School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science (SETAS).

The SDRE department is dedicated to technology related to smart and sustainable building systems.  Our curriculum touches on smart sensors, electronic controls, renewable power generation, the energy grid, building services, and much more.  We offer various technician, technology, and graduate certificate programs in:

• Architecture
• Construction Project Management
• Electronics Engineering
• Energy Systems Engineering
• Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning

Our faculty team of subject matter experts and industry practitioners are actively engaged in applied research to ensure program curriculum is relevant, and our laboratories are outfitted with equipment that supports your hands-on learning to develop in demand skills for career success.
