Fictional Contract

The following virtual simulation game involves a nursing student and a patient actor.  The patient actor had breast cancer however, the pre-brief story is fictitious. As the learner, we ask you to engage in the simulation as the nurse.

Confidentiality 

During the virtual simulation experience, we ask you to be non-judgemental and to be open to learning. We ask that you do not share your answers with others to maintain confidentiality for an effective learning experience for all learners.  By continuing on in the simulation you agree to the confidentiality agreement.

Psychological Safety

The community home visit simulation is designed for mature learners who are health care workers. If you have any unsettled feelings before, during or after the simulation, you should talk with your healthcare provider or contact counselling services at your school.
