22 Video: Removal of a JP Drain

The nurse has gathered the necessary supplies, performed hand hygiene and donned gloves. The old dressing has been removed, the site has been cleaned, the bulb suction was released and the suture has been removed.

The video below is NOT of our patient Janet; however, it is a good demonstration of how to properly remove a JP drain.
