Upon successful completion of the Community and Child Studies Foundations Certificate, students can secure a spot (please refer to the chart – pathways for Domestic and International students) in one of the following diploma programs offered by the School of Community and Health Studies:

After graduating from the CCSF Ontario Certificate program , students enrolled in their diploma program can also choose to complete the following Certificates

Specialized Academic Certificates – Will be available to CCSF students once they commence their chosen diploma program

You can use your General Education (GNED) elective courses to fulfill the requirements for a Specialized Academic Certificate. Specialized Academic Certificate programs provide an opportunity for students registered in a Diploma or Advanced Diploma program to earn an additional certificate concurrently with their diploma. In order to obtain a Specialized Academic Certificate, you must successfully complete GNED500 plus the three GNED courses required by the Specialized Academic Certificate program. The GNED courses will also fulfill the elective GNED requirements of the diploma program. Currently the Specialized Academic Certificate programs are

  • Indigenous Studies: First Peoples in Canada,
  • Inclusive Leadership Practices,
  • Entrepreneurism, and
  • Black Studies.
