The Final – Present Day

Although open warfare has ceased, the world remains deeply scarred, and the process of rebuilding is slow and incomplete. Beneath the surface of tentative diplomacy, tensions simmer powerfully as discontent over the perceived unfairness of the current Chi-divided system and doubts about the legitimacy of the established leadership persist. This uneasy quiet is actively threatened by underground movements born from the war’s trauma, most notably the clandestine Kaichis. This faction, composed largely of those broken and resentful from the conflict, operates from the shadows, aiming to dismantle the current order through assassination and subterfuge, hoping to unify Chi by force and risking the ignition of a Second Great Chi War. Compounding the instability, strange ancient ruins have begun to surface, and the very currents of Chi feel disturbed, hinting that forgotten, potent forces are stirring beneath the land, potentially altering Chira’s future irrevocably.
