Part III – The Great Chi War
The accumulated tensions and escalating disputes eventually erupted into the Great Chi War, a devastating, age-defining conflict that engulfed the continent mere years before the present day. This war was fought between rival nations driven by conflicting ideologies and ambitions, each desperately seeking to unlock Chi’s deepest secrets and establish themselves as its rightful stewards. The fighting caused unprecedented destruction, tearing across entire regions, disrupting the natural, harmonious flow of Chi, and leaving indelible scars upon the land itself. In the chaos and ruin, much of Chi’s ancient history and forgotten truths were lost, buried beneath rubble and silenced by time. The war ultimately ended not through decisive victory, but through sheer exhaustion, forcing the weary nations into a precarious and hard-won cessation of hostilities.
