Sarah Darling (MA, OCELT)
CONESTOGA COLLEGE
Sarah Darling (MA, OCELT) is a Professor of English Language Studies and Teaching English as a Second Language at Conestoga College in Waterloo Region, Ontario. Since joining Conestoga College in 2019, she has taught courses in Reading Comprehension, Written Communication, and Pronunciation. Sarah has had the privilege of teaching English and German language courses in Taiwan, Edmonton (AB), and Waterloo Region (ON). This is her second OER publication, following her collaboration with Larissa Conley on the creation of Listening Strategies for Success in 2022.

Cheryl Knapp (MA, OCELT)
CONESTOGA COLLEGE
Cheryl Knapp (MA, OCELT) has dedicated 15 years to English language education, teaching in diverse programs across Canada and South Korea. She has developed and delivered a wide range of English language courses throughout her career. For the past three years, she has specialized in English Language Studies at Conestoga College, where she teaches courses in Reading Comprehension, Pronunciation, and Canadian Perspectives. In her free time, Cheryl has volunteered with organizations such as the March of Dimes and has participated in various international teaching programs, including in Ghana and South Korea. She loves travelling, exploring new cultures, and bringing those experiences into her classroom to enrich her students’ learning.
