Semester Dates and Deadlines

Our Academic and Planning Calendar assists students with future planning, noting semester start and end dates; significant academic dates, including fall, winter and spring breaks; some key events; and holiday closures.

Ensure you check the important dates calendar for the current semester.

Deadlines for assignments and projects are published by each professor in each course’s e.centennial pages. Be sure to read assignment/project sheets closely as there are academic penalties for late submissions.

College Events

There are many College events throughout the year that you can participate in and engage with the college community. Check the College Events Calendar to see how you can get involved!

In the Broadcasting program, there are several events throughout the year including the start-up ‘Meet and Greet’, special guest lectures, industry panel discussions, a ‘Meet the Grads’ event, and a series of Union/Guild orientation sessions.  The big event at the end of each winter term is the annual Film and Video Awards entitled the Donny Awards usually held each May or June.
