Labs and Lab Expectations

Uniforms

All students will be required to wear the HWF uniform in their designated laboratories. The uniform is as follows with no exceptions. Students must abide by these policies both within the walls of the College and outdoors while participating in class.

Both shirts and pants/shorts must be free of logos or sayings.

Clothing cannot be charcoal, grey, dark blue or any colour other than black.

• Running/Athletic Shoes – Tied up and appropriate to exercise.
• Black Shorts/Pants – Shorts and Pants must be athletic material and shorts must be appropriate length and fit.
• Black Shirts/T-Shirts/Hoodies/Zip-Ups-Shirts must be athletic material and must have short or long sleeves. Tank tops are not permitted.

Your instructor reserves the right to deny you entrance into lab if they deem your attire to be offensive or inappropriate.

Classroom Etiquette

• Students are responsible for classroom tear down of equipment
• Students are not permitted to have food or beverages in the lab area (water excluded)
• While using tables, students are to remove shoes and are not to use the massage tables as desks for writing
• All tables and scales need to be wiped down after usage. Cleaning supplies will be provided in the laboratory space
