Knee

• Locate the middle of the patella and measure the circumference around the knee

Calf

• Client rests their foot on a chair
• Visually look for the widest point of the calf muscle and take the measurement from there

Ankle

• Client rests their foot on a chair
• Locate the boney processes of the tibia and fibula bones and measure just above these boney processes, around the ankle
