Arm Length and Hand Span

Arm Length

• Locate the acromion process at the shoulder
• Measure from zero at the shoulder to the tip of the middle finger

Hand Span

• Ask you client to spread their hand out as wide as they possibly can
• Measure from the tip of the little finger across the hand to the thumb
