Welcome to Biophysics 2S03

Welcome to Biophysics 2S03, we are excited for you to be here with us!

In this course, you will have weekly ‘workshops’ (tutorials/labs/computer programming/journal club) at the time and location given on your Mosaic schedule. Through these sessions, you will work on building data analysis and interpretation skills,  and explore physics concepts in more detail.

In addition to the lab experiment procedures, this lab manual contains important introductory and reference materials that you should read and then refer back to as you are completing your lab reports.

Lab reports, problem sets, and programming exercises will be handed in using the Crowdmark platform. If you are unfamiliar with the platform, or need a refresher of how to use it, you can see a general introduction here: Crowdmark instructions.

During the workshops, we expect you to take an active role in your learning. Make sure that you are taking opportunities to work with the equipment during labs, to explore, to share ideas, and to ask any questions that you have (to your partners, instructor and TAs). Have fun!
