Program Modalities and Requirements

Baking Skills Program is taught in a hybrid format. All theory and elective courses will be delivered online asynchronous and accessed initially through eCentennial, however, all lab courses (BAKE 111, 122, 211 and 222) will be taught in person on campus in a modified format to comply with physical distancing requirements as required by the Province and the College.

Important Note

Please note that delivery plans for your program may change due to mandated Ontario Public Health measures. Continue to monitor the COVID-19 Student Information Centre for up-to-date information.

eCentennial

All courses at Centennial have an online learning environment on eCentennial, the College’s learning management system. Through eCentennial you can access course documentation and class assignments, monitor grades, and actively communicate and collaborate with professors and other students. Online courses and online components of hybrid courses will be delivered through eCentennial. You may need to write online tests and submit assignments via eCentennial. Your professor will discuss their use of eCentennial in each of your courses. View this video to learn how to navigate eCentennial and view the eCentennial Help- Video Tutorials.
