Program Modalities and Requirements
Baking Skills Online Program is an asynchronous program. All courses will be delivered online asynchronous and accessed initially through eCentennial. Each course will have a scheduled timeline where your professor will assign a timeslot from 45 minutes to 1 hour to run weekly virtual check-in sessions. Attending weekly virtual check-in sessions is highly recommended, however, attendance will not be evaluated.
Each week will start on Monday 12:00 am and end on Sunday 11:59 pm EST. For details regarding due dates/times of assessments, refer to the course outline in each course on eCentennial.
Important Note
Please note that delivery plans for your program may change due to mandated Ontario Public Health measures. Continue to monitor the COVID-19 Student Information Centre for up-to-date information.
eCentennial
All courses at Centennial have an online learning environment on eCentennial, the College’s learning management system. Through eCentennial you can access course documentation and class assignments, monitor grades, and actively communicate and collaborate with professors and other students. Online courses and online components of hybrid courses will be delivered through eCentennial. You may need to write online tests and submit assignments via eCentennial. Your professor will discuss their use of eCentennial in each of your courses. View this video to learn how to navigate eCentennial and view the eCentennial Help- Video Tutorials.
