Introduction

A little about me, I am a married mom of two working as an RPN. I currently at Ontario Shores with adolescents but have worked the past 10 years in Acute Medicine, an Infusion Clinic and in a nursing home. Nursing is a strong passion of mine and i want to open more windows of opportunity so i have decided to return to school and complete my Bachelors in Nursing. I have gone back to school to advance to a RN and this book is a part of my learning journey. I hope to complete this program and potentially be able to work in the NICU or even take my education further and get into teaching other students in a placement setting. Over my time i have taken students and precepted in the hospitals and really enjoyed teaching people skills and critical thinking and be able to find their confidence in themselves when starting their nursing careers. This book will have assignments i have completed a long the way of my time here at Trent University. I hope you follow along.
