Nursing Philosophy

My personal nursing philosophy is to provide the best level of care to all my patients. The best level of care to me means being able to provide as much dignity and respect as possible, being a strong educated advocate, showing compassion and understanding, keeping myself educated and competent, and being ethical and culturally sensitive. I believe everybody deserves access to good healthcare and providers should be honest, dedicated, educated and skilled. The four core values I have for my nursing practice are Respect, Accountability, Wellbeing, and Collaboration. I aim to ensure I am practicing all of these core values in my day to day practice and will continue to do so.
